Law 13 – The Replenishing Law of Automatic Prosperity
People are constantly asking, “How can I get ahead in life, improve my circumstances, get a raise in salary, buy a new car and a new home, and have all the money I need in order to do what I have to do when I want to do it?”
The answer to all of these questions comes through learning to use the laws of your own mind: the law of cause and effect, the law of increase, and the law of attraction; these laws of your mind work with the same precision and exactitude as do the laws of physics, chemistry, and mathematics – and as definitely as the law of gravitation. The law of prosperity is beautifully expressed by the Psalmist when he says, “His delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” (Psalm 1:2)
Prosperity means to increase our capacities and abilities along all lines and in every direction so that we release our inner powers. The promotion, the money, and the contacts you wish to make are the images or likenesses, as well as the physical forms of the states of mind that produce them.
I am very well acquainted with a stock broker in Los Angeles. He attributes his large clientele and success in making money for them to his practice of a mental, imaginary conversation with a multimillionaire banker friend who congratulates him on his wise and sound judgement and who compliments him on his purchase of the right stocks. He dramatizes this imaginary conversation every morning before he goes to his office, and he psychologically fixes the impression in his subconscious.
This broker’s imaginary conversations agree with his aim to make sound investments for himself and his clients. He told me that his main purpose in his business life is to make money for others and to see them prosper financially by his wise counsel. In making money for others, he also has prospered beyond his fondest dreams. It is quite evident that he is using the laws of mind constructively and that his delight is in the law of the Lord.
